Empowering adolescent girls in India to complete their secondary education and pursue self-defined pathways to financial independence.

We envision a future where every girl has the support she needs to complete her education and build a life of dignity and independence.
We believe every girl should have the chance to complete school, free from the constraints of poverty, gendered expectations, or emotional burdens that hold her back.
We provide financial and emotional support to families and train mothers to lead vocational training sessions that offer both income and agency.
We invest in the mental health of teachers through group therapy and peer networks, so they are supported in supporting others.
We provide science and computer labs, teaching aids, and gender-inclusive materials to create engaging learning environments.
Our work is grounded in partnership. We co-create with school leaders and educators who know their communities best and build systems that last.
GEET was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that every adolescent girl in India deserves the opportunity to complete her secondary education and pursue a pathway to financial independence.
What started as a response to the systemic challenges facing girls from under-resourced communities has grown into a comprehensive model that addresses not just education, but the entire ecosystem that supports a girl’s journey.
Through partnerships with schools, engagement with families, and support for teachers, GEET has created a holistic approach that recognizes education cannot happen in isolation. It requires financial support, emotional care, skills training, and community investment.
Today, GEET continues to evolve, always grounded in the principle that lasting change comes from working with communities, not for them.

Years of Impact
Our approach recognizes that education is not just about classrooms and textbooks. It’s about creating an ecosystem of support that addresses the multiple barriers girls face.
Providing financial and emotional support to girls at risk of dropping out, enhancing school infrastructure, and engaging families to invest in their daughters’ futures.
Running vocational skills programs for adolescent girls, led by mothers, and partnering with schools to introduce alternative learning tracks.
Hiring and training mothers as facilitators, caregivers, and instructors, offering dignified work that provides income and agency.
Creating partnerships with schools and communities that last, ensuring our interventions become part of the local infrastructure.

GEET’s model is built on the understanding that sustainable change comes from within communities. We don’t parachute in with solutions—we partner, listen, and co-create.
We work with schools and communities that know their context best. Every intervention is co-designed with local partners.
We don’t impose solutions. We build relationships with schools, teachers, and families that last beyond individual programs.
Mothers become trainers. Teachers become mentors. Schools become centers of change. The community drives the transformation.
We address financial barriers, emotional needs, skills gaps, and infrastructure challenges simultaneously.
GEET’s work directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, creating measurable impact that aligns with global priorities.
Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls through education and economic opportunities.
Promoting sustained, inclusive economic growth, full employment, and decent work for all, especially women.
Reducing inequality within and among countries by ensuring equal opportunities for girls and women.
These values guide every decision we make, every partnership we form, and every program we design.
We center care in everything we do—for girls, for teachers, for families, for communities. Education without care is incomplete.
We believe in working with, not for, communities. Every solution is co-created with those who know their context best.
We measure what matters. Our programs are designed with clear outcomes and we track progress to ensure we're making a difference.
Transparency, accountability, and ethical practice guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.
We're not here for quick wins. We build systems that last, relationships that endure, and change that compounds over time.
