Introducing Our New Series: In Their Words: Stories of Change from the GEET Community

Change doesn't always look dramatic. Sometimes, it's quiet: a girl who keeps going to school when others drop out, a mother stepping into a classroom for the first time, a teacher finally feeling seen and supported.

In Their Words is GEET's new blog series, spearheaded by Shrika Lele, that shares these moments directly from the people living them. Through short interviews and personal reflections, we hear from students, mothers, educators, and school leaders about what life was like before GEET stepped in, and what's possible now.

These stories are raw, honest, and deeply human. They show us how real change takes root: slowly, collectively, and with lasting impact.
